Up, Up and Away

What’s done is done.

There’s no looking back.

What goes around, comes around.

Act in haste, repent at leisure.

Look before you leap

All publicity is good publicity

Proverbs and short, pithy sayings give good advice and provide an interesting insight into the values and beliefs of any society.

The sayings quoted above have come to mind this week as we put up for the world to read, the first chapter of Mirren Jones’ new novel, provisionally entitled Never Do Harm.  It is a psychological drama about the relationship between two doctors – one a GP and the other a consultant surgeon.  A third character, the GP’s French wife, plays a key role in the action.

So it’s out there now, there’s no looking back, what’s done is done.  And what’s different in this day and age is that we have set our little bird free and have no control over what happens to it now.

A new concept in our modern culture is internet safety.  Soon our  list of proverbs will contain some of the following :

Don’t use your mother’s maiden name

However, today, with an OMG and LOL we have taken the leap and invite you to sample our new novel, Never Do Harm and give us some feedback.  Just remember that whatever you say online is out there for the world to see!
